EDTC 6332 – Practicum in Educational Technology

Guided observation and practice in the applications of technology to a specified educational setting are emphasized.

Projects:

• IU1: Audience and Environment Analysis

​This step involved understanding the learners and their learning environment to establish an instructional goal.

• IU2: Task Analysis, Performance Objectives, and Assessment

​The instructional goal was broken down into parts through task analysis, which then informs the development of performance objectives and corresponding assessment instruments.

• IU3: Instructional Strategies and Media

​A plan was created to help learners achieve performance objectives by combining appropriate instructional strategies and media.

• IU4: Formative Evaluation

The instructional unit underwent a formative evaluation process to assess its quality and identify areas for improvement.
