EDTC 6320 - Cooperative Project

Project Description: This project involved creating a dynamic and persuasive 3 minute online multimedia presentation that comprehensively introduces the field of Educational Technology, addressing its definition, the roles and skills of Educational Technologists, career opportunities across various sectors, salary ranges, key historical and technological developments, and relevant professional standards. The presentation was well-researched and tailored to the specific instructional needs and target audience, utilizing different forms of media that included audio, video, and graphics that showcased advanced features of presentation software.  All multimedia elements were properly attributed or original, ensuring both credibility and compliance with copyright guidelines.

EDTC 6321 - Instructional Design Project

Project Description: This fire safety course aims to teach students how to identify different types of fires and select the correct portable extinguisher for each.​ By understanding the P.A.S.S. method, students will learn the proper steps to operate an extinguisher effectively and safely. A key learning outcome is the ability to quickly assess a fire situation and make the crucial decision to either fight the small fire or evacuate to safety. Ultimately, this course prepares individuals to confidently and competently respond to incipient-stage fires, enhancing their personal safety and that of others.

It highlights health benefits, useful cooking tips, and proper care to help users cook better. Project Description: ​This online training helps teachers make engaging courses that students will enjoy and remember.​ It shows them how to use interactive lessons and real-world examples to keep students interested. The course also teaches teachers to use modules with quizzes and discussions to motivate students and build a lively online classroom. By avoiding common mistakes, teachers can make online learning effective and fun for all.
